Football and Cheerleading Registration Open

Chickasaw Saints football and cheerleading registration is now open. Parents can register their children at J. W. Dotson Park, ages 4-14, every Saturday in July from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. There will be a full week of registration beginning Aug. 1, from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Practice begins  July 27 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Call 508-7113 for more information.

Girls 2009 Softball Season Opens

Mayor Byron Pittman opened the Mauvilla Park girl's slow pitch softball season with the first pitch during May. Council members Adam Bourne and Ross Naze were also present to cheer on the girls' teams. The day started out foggy and misty. As soon as the games started, the sun came out. Parents and fans enjoyed the day. Good luck this season girls!

Mayor Byron Pittman threw the first pitch to open the 2009 baseball season for the Mobile BayBears on Tuesday, April 14, at Hank Aaron Stadium in Mobile before a crowd of 4,157 people.
