Senior Adult Swim Night
Come beat the summer time heat. Cool off and have loads of fun with friends. This includes a water fitness class, free of charge for senior residents.
Date: Tuesday and Thursday
Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm ( 6pm fitness class)
Begins: June 3rd

Trip to tour Hyundai Plant
Plans are being made to tour the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing plant in Montgomery Alabama. Experience one of the world's most advanced automotive plants!
Date: Monday June 28
Time: Depart Civic Center 10am / Return around 6pm
Lunch on your own at Bate's House of Turkey around 12noon
Tour no charge
We will also visit Priester's Pecans

The Largest Flea Market on the Gulf Coast

Put on your walking shoes and make plans to visit the Flea Market in Mobile AL, Vans will depart from the Chickasaw Civic Center Saturday July 24 at 9am You will have time to browse and eat a bite at the market.
Will return by 12noon. Call 452-6462.

Chickasaw Senior Christmas Luncheon Held Dec. 17

Sounds of Christmas music performed by Teresa Goolsby drifted through the air at the J. C. Davis Auditorium in Chickasaw Thursday Dec. 17 and delighted over 140 guests at the annual Chickasaw Senior Adult Christmas Luncheon. Mayor Byron Pittman welcomed the attendees as they enjoyed a delicious buffet-style luncheon catered by Catfish Junction Restaurant. Reverend Steve Warren of Chickasaw United Methodist Church gave a special Christmas message. The event was coordinated by the Chickasaw Parks & Recreation director, Kathy Couey. Check out some of the photos of Chickasaw citizens and their guests who attended the community Christmas party.

Chick-a-cisers Senior Exercise Class meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the auditorium at 8:30 - 9:15 a.m.

Early Bird Breakfast - Each first Monday of the month, the recreation department wakes up before the birds to prepare a warm breakfast for you. 7:30 a.m. at the Civic Center. $2.00 per person.

Blood Pressure Check - first Wednesday of each month. Our nurse comes in to check your blood pressure. 10 - 12 noon at the Auditorium.

Senior Dominoes with Friends on Fridays - Play a fun game of dominoes on the 3rd Friday of each month. 10 a.m. at the auditorium. Call (251) 452-6464 for transportation.

Senior Adult Bingo - Each Wednesday lots of laughs, fun and more laughs. 12 noon at the Auditorium. Call (251) 452-6464 for transportation.
